Summary
The first physical Deep Tech Innovation Alley was executed with perfection and attended by some august and curious audiences across industries. It was held on 30th November at the Jio World Convention Center, Mumbai.
Network Science set out with an aim to give its participants a never before experience by getting the best minds and most advanced tech together. The reviews received from each participant were very humbling and gave us the confidence that we could do far better in the next DTIA.

Collaboration with Department for International Trade (UK)
DTIA brought together Network Science and Department for International Trade (DIT) cementing our focus on the UK along with India. The UK’s Department for International Trade (DIT) helps UK businesses export, drives inward and outward investment, negotiates market access and trade deals, and champions free trade. DIT are an international economic department, responsible for supporting and encouraging UK businesses to drive sustainable international growth and ensuring the UK remains a leading destination for international investment. The collaboration and presence of DIT at DTIA is a testimony to the importance of trade ties between India and UK.

Innovation on Board’s Agenda – a Panel Discussion
A Panel Discussion like no other! Innovation is no longer a discussion taking place in pockets in an organization to be put aside . It is now an important aspect inside the boardroom. We wanted to understand from our 3 panellists representing 3 different industries, about their experience and views on this topic. The panel was represented by Jayant Khosla- charismatic MD of VLCC healthcare, Rajarshi Moitra- eloquent CCO of Bridgestone and Sandeep Wirkhare- dynamic CEO of Indian School Finance company (ISFC). Sandeep Hardikar set the tone as a moderator and what followed was an interesting and rich discussion that left the audience engrossed and also in splits occasionally. Innovation at grassroots what is better known as ‘Jugaad Innovation’, came out unanimously as the birthplace of what later transcends as corporate level innovation. All 3 panellists with their many years in the corporate world had experienced this Jugaad on multiple occasions. Very interesting examples were shared through the discussion and many evoked peals of laughter from the audience.
Demystifying AI by Dr. Shailesh Kumar
Another captivating experience was the session on Demystifying AI by Shailesh Kumar, Chief Data Scientist of Reliance Jio. The session lasted for an hour and everyone in the audience wanted to know more about how AI was influencing lives. Dr.Shailesh received a thunderous applause for doing complete justice to the session and simplifying the applications of AI.
Fast Track Innovation
Network Science reached out to some DTIA participating companies asking for their teething business problems and received interesting responses. The resolution to these using some Deep Tech platforms was demonstrated at DTIA in the Fast Track Innovation session. Our first business problem was a board level issue of knowing the quantum of Cyber risk. The next business problem we received was that of remote inspection. How do we reduce downtime and travel costs while making sure our factories are running round the clock by activating remote inspection systems. The Fast Track Innovation session established that business issues need not take long cycles to be addressed. Deep Tech is here to bring big and fast innovation.
Innovation Alley
Inauguration of Deep Tech Innovation Alley
DTIA was inaugurated by our esteemed guests Ajita Hathlia, Manaswini Goel Akash Poddar Dhruv Patel and our Co-founder Raju Chouthai by lighting the quintessential ceremonial lamp. Our guests then proceeded to the Alley to experience how Deep Technology is steering the 5 vectors-Growth, Cost, Risk, Innovation and Data ,in direction of success for all kinds of industries. We had presence of over 50 CEO/ MDs/ CXOs across industries. Our participants were electrified by the Augmented and Virtual reality experience.
Zero Cost Transformation
We showcased how enterprise wide transformation challenges can be addressed via Zero Cost Transformation (ZCT) vector. Our ZCT model leverages ‘Big & Fast’ transformation levers, focusing upon structural & enterprise-wide change both on a short- & long-term basis. Resulting in sustainable cost savings, margin improvements & much more; all underpinned by deeptech. Leaders tasked to rethink cost management benefited immensely and the response we received was truly fantastic.
Zero Defect Data
Data is a powerful resource for change. It has increasingly become the language for people & organisations. Data Strategies we implement today will help us deal with the multitude of data challenges faced by organisations and prepare us better for the future. But the key question is: where do you get started? Industry veterans lined up at the ‘𝗗𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘆’ to share data-driven factual and expert opinions, offering appropriate guidance helping elevate value within your respective ecosystems. We showed the Power Of Data during the event with our Data Governance Platform and gathered quite the audience of various CXOs. All of them were intrigued by the capability of the Platform to Provide a Single View or a Single Source Of Truth about their Customer to them.

At the Innovation Booth, we gave a glimpse of what organizations can achieve by demoing solutions around computer vision, deep tech, mixed reality and a lot more. We pushed the audience’s imagination towards what’s possible for their business helped them realize our capabilities to bring about Such Zero to One innovation.
Zero Trust Risk Management
At the ZERO TRUST RISK INNOVATION ZONE we were delighted to see an overwhelming response from our esteemed guests to see use cases and solutions which are creating deep impact in helping enterprises mitigate and manage risks when it comes to detecting, predicting, preventing & responding to potential cyber breaches. Network Science team members and partners at the innovation zone showcased several use cases, including Cyber risk quantification solutions, safety & compliance solutions for operating in hazardous & high-risk construction sites, perimeter fencing, condition monitoring through IOT sensors, and predictive maintenance monitoring. Asset and contact tracking, perimeter fencing, and condition monitoring using IOT sensors.
